These Terms & Conditions apply when you use https://monotap.pages.dev and buy from MONOTAP, a business of YIEH GUAN SEAN (Registration No. 202603255740 (IP0633018-K)) (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to these terms. Nothing here affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or other Malaysian law.

1. Seller information

2. The product

  • A MONOTAP is a 3D-printed keychain (about 3 × 3.5 cm, 4 mm thick) with a passive NFC chip (NTAG213) and a steel key ring.
  • Each keychain is printed to order. Small variations in colour, texture and visible print layers are normal and are not defects.
  • The chip stores one web link. When tapped with a compatible phone, the phone opens that link.
  • Product names refer to tag styles only. Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and other names are trademarks of their respective owners. MONOTAP is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by them.

3. Phone compatibility

MONOTAP works with phones that support NFC tag reading: iPhone XS and newer automatically, iPhone 7 to X through Control Centre, and most Android phones with NFC switched on. Thick or metal cases, card wallets and magnetic accessories can block NFC. We cannot guarantee that every phone model will read the tag.

4. Your link and content

  • You are responsible for the link you provide and for the content it leads to.
  • We may refuse or cancel (with a full refund) orders with links that are illegal, harmful, fraudulent, sexual, or that infringe others’ rights.
  • The link on your chip can be read by anyone who taps it.
  • Please double-check your link. At checkout you can review and correct everything, including a “test link” button, before you pay.

5. Ordering and contract

  1. You customise your keychain(s), enter delivery details, review your order and pay.
  2. Our contract is formed when your payment is confirmed. You’ll see a confirmation page right away, and ToyyibPay emails you a receipt.
  3. Spotted a mistake after paying? Contact us immediately with your order number. If printing hasn’t started, we will correct your details or link free of charge.
  4. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if a product is unavailable or a pricing error occurred.

6. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). The full price, including delivery charges, is shown before you pay. We do not add payment fees.
  • Payment is made through ToyyibPay using FPX online banking (and any other methods shown on the payment page). We never see or store your banking login details.
  • Multi-item pricing applies automatically based on the total number of keychains in one order.

8. Faulty items, returns and refunds

See our Returns & Refunds policy. If your MONOTAP is faulty or not as described, we will repair, replace or refund it in line with the Consumer Protection Act 1999.

9. Rewriting and locking

Keychains are shipped unlocked so you can change your link yourself with a free NFC app. Please note that an unlocked tag can, in principle, be rewritten by anyone with an NFC writing app. You may password-protect or permanently lock your tag at your own choice. A permanently locked tag can never be changed again, and a forgotten password cannot be recovered by us.

Some keychains use MONOTAP Link: the chip stores a permanent MONOTAP address, and you choose where it goes in My MONOTAP.

  • The dashboard is free with your keychain. There is no subscription.
  • Link keychains are locked after programming so nobody can overwrite them. You change the destination online instead (section 9 applies only to keychains that store your link directly).
  • Keep your email account secure. Anyone who can open your sign-in emails can manage your keychains.
  • You may only publish content you have the right to share (for example, your own photo and contact details). We may hide profiles or disable keychains that point to illegal, harmful, fraudulent or infringing content.
  • We aim to keep MONOTAP Link running reliably, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. If we ever decide to stop the service, we will give at least 6 months’ notice and help you switch your keychain to a direct link.

10. Care and safety

  • Contains small parts. Not suitable for children under 3. It is not a toy.
  • Like most 3D-printed plastics, it can soften or warp in high heat (for example on a car dashboard in direct sun). Heat damage is not a manufacturing defect.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for the content of websites that your link opens. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.

12. Website use and intellectual property

All website content (text, design, images, 3D models and the MONOTAP name and logo) belongs to us or our licensors. Please don’t copy it for commercial use without permission, or misuse the website (for example by attempting to break its security).

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Please contact us first. Most issues can be fixed quickly. You may also file a claim with the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
